Legion du Mortun Veteran Section

After a few weeks of inactivity I have finally finished my first section of veteran infantry for the Legion du Mortun. As mentioned in previous posts the Legion is a breakthrough exploitation formation that is typically held back until the enemy trench lines are penetrated. The highly mobile Legion then breaks through to exploit the enemy as they retreat in chaos. I’ll be adding armour and transports in future – although next up is some cavalry.

This section have just disembarked from their Chimera APC to assault an enemy strongpoint in the rear siege lines surrounding the entrapped fortress city of Mortun. . They are lightly equipped (the backpacks are stowed in the APC) and relatively clean as they haven’t been sat in front line trenches for the last six years like their colleagues in the siege battalions.
